All Democratic candidates for Maine House and Senate districts that include Lincoln County will participate in candidate forums hosted by local news media, to be held between Sept. 26 and Oct. 10 in Boothbay, Damariscotta, Dresden, Wiscasset, and Waldoboro. 16 September, 2024LCDC will hold its next meeting on Thursday, Sept. 19, featuring guest speaker Anna Kellar, Executive Director at Democracy Maine (League of Women Voters of Maine and Maine Citizens for Clean Elections) will explain the five referenda on the ballot this November. Will Hayward, Voter Protection and Access Director at the Maine Democratic Party, will make a presentation on the party's voter protection program. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. and will be in a hybrid format. Participants can join in person at the 2024 LCDC Campaign Headquarters, 27 River Road in Newcastle (across from The Lincoln Home), or via Zoom. This meeting was originally scheduled for Sept. 26....
